AK-47 Flat Bending Jig with Stepped Rail

These are available as a complete package or an upgrade if you already have my flat bending jig. To use this set-up you won't want to use a hammer to bend the top rails over. This can damage the angle plates since they are machined with a small amount of material left over to form the step. If you buy the upgrade and bend up the ledge by using a hammer then the cost of the replacement angle plates is on you.

The step upgrade will only work with my flat jigs. The lower plate has to be .375" thick that bolts the flat to the center bar. The center bar has to have the notch cut for clearance on the dimple in front of the mag opening. Older versions will have to be upgraded with a new center bar and lower plate. Most of the ones that have been sold off my website in the past year have the 3/8 plate and notched center bar.

THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH TAPCO'S PRE BENT TOP RAIL FLATS. Their flats have the rails bent too high plus there isn't enough material left to make the step. Damage to the jig done by using those flats to put the step in the rail can't be exchanged
