RU-24 Phelps Heritage 1 501 .45-70

Phelps Manufacturing Company began Manufacturing between early 1978 to 1996. Their massive revolvers weight up to approximately 6 lbs. It has an 8" barrel, blued finish, walnut grips, blade front sight and micro type adjustable rear sight. Marked Heritage 1 on the right side of the frame. E. F. Phelps manufacturing, Inc. Evansville IN is marked on the left side of the frame. The left side of the barrel is marked 45-70. This revolver has never been fired. Has slight blue wear on muzzle with handling & storage marks. Action cycles and functions mechanically good. Originally, the frame and parts were investment cast of 41 40 steel.
