Recoil buffers are an easy and inexpensive way to eliminate damage of critical components by preventing the metal to metal contact of the slide or breech block with the frame. Made from a high density polyurethane formulated for maximum shock-absorbing characteristics, the recoil buffer is a drop-in part. Slightly thicker than the original and made with stronger material. 3/16'' thick. Guaranteed to last 5,000-8,000 rounds! (Actual life of this buffer is unknow presently, the one we are testing has more than 60,000 rounds on it and is still in good shape.)
